Meet Joylenn

Joylenn (She/Her/Ella) is a proud native of Albuquerque, raised in the South Valley, and a graduate of Rio Grande High School. Joylenn dreamed of living in New York and becoming a fashion designer and artist. While life ultimately guided her along a different path, her creativity and passion for expression have remained central to who she is.

Choosing to stay rooted in her hometown, Joylenn discovered her true calling in helping others. She has dedicated more than 30 years to working with children and adults in the mental health field.

Joylenn’s personal interests reflect her creative spirit. She finds inspiration in art across all mediums, music, road trips, and exploring new destinations. Her lifelong commitment to both healing and creativity led her to co-found A Journey for Healing.
