Meet Joylenn
Joylenn (She/Her/Ella) is a proud native of Albuquerque, raised in the South Valley and a graduate of Rio Grande High School. From a young age, Joylenn dreamed of living in New York City and pursuing a career as a fashion designer and artist. Although life ultimately guided her along a different path, her creativity and passion for self-expression have remained at the heart of who she is.
Choosing to stay rooted in her hometown, Joylenn discovered her true calling in helping others. For more than 30 years, she has dedicated herself to supporting children and adults in the mental health field, bringing compassion, understanding, and care to the communities she serves.
Joylenn’s personal interests reflect her vibrant creative spirit. She finds inspiration in art of all mediums, music, road trips, and exploring new places. Her lifelong commitment to both healing and creativity ultimately led her to co-found A Journey for Healing.
